Jen graduated from the University of Alberta Augustana campus with a Bachelor of Science in 2008 and knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field but was unsure what that looked like until she heard of the technologist program. She graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Thompson Rivers University in 2012 and has been working at the Kamloops Veterinary Clinic mostly since.
As an RVT, her passions include nutrition, dental procedures, and client education. She is the clinic’s Nutrition Advocate and loves discussing dietary needs of pets with clients and helping them create individual plans. She strives to help clients through the maze that is pet nutrition since it is a proactive way we can help keep our pets healthy and strong.
Jen and her husband welcomed their son in 2020 and will be welcoming their second child in July 2023. They share their home a very spoiled three-legged rescue cat named Wicket. When not at work, she enjoys crocheting, playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family outdoors.
