Dr. Zoe Walter, DVM

Veterinarian
Dr. Zoe Walter was born and raised in Kamloops and was very happy to return to her hometown in 2022! Dr. Walter explored a diversity of interests including wildlife rehabilitation, environmental conservation, and anthropological research while completing her Bachelor of Science Honours (BScH) degree in Biology at Queen's University (Kingston, ON) on scholarship. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (Saskatoon, SK), and joined the Kamloops Veterinary Clinic team in May 2023. Dr. Walter has a passion for feline medicine and is working on her feline specialty board certification with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP). She also has a special interest in internal medicine, ultrasonography, emergency & critical care, rehabilitation, and animal behaviour. Dr. Walter is Fear Free (fearfreepets.com) and Recover (recoverinitiarive.org) certified. When not in the clinic, Dr. Walter stays active with yoga and soccer. She loves board games with friends, coffee with family, and curling up with her cat and a good book.
