Kylie, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist
Kylie started at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic in 2019 as a receptionist, tech assistant and kennel attendant. While working for the clinic, Kylie graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Thompson Rivers University in 2021 and has been working as an RVT ever since.

Kylie wanted to get into the vet industry because she's always appreciated the human-animal bond. From a young age, while working with animals and dreaming about getting into the vet industry, she realized just how much animals improve everyone's well-being and overall happiness. Kylie believes animals enrich our lives, and we deserve to return that favor! She also really enjoys working with a team of like-minded people with a common goal. Ever since adopting her first dog, she's developed a love of high energy breed dogs and loves connecting with owners about working with these athletic breeds.

When not at work, Kylie enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her two dogs, Paris, a 11-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd and Juniper, a 2-year-old Border Collie. She also enjoys camping, hiking, reading, horseback riding and competing in agility trials with Juniper.
