Kylie, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Kylie started at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic in July 2019 as a receptionist, tech assistant and kennel attendant. She recently graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at TRU and is now working as a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Kylie wanted to get into the vet industry because she's always appreciated the human-animal bond. From a young age, while working with animals and dreaming about getting into the vet industry, she realized just how much animals improve everyone's well-being and overall happiness. Kylie believes animals enrich our lives, and we deserve to return that favour! She also really enjoy working with a team of like-minded people. We all have the same goal of helping animals. Ever since adopting a dog, she's developed a love of herding breed dogs and loves connecting with owners about their hiking adventures with their dogs.

When not at work, Kylie enjoys hiking with her fiance and her dog, Paris, a 9-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd. She also enjoys camping, reading and horseback riding during her free time.
