Originally from Montreal, Dr. Juliette Goodlet graduated with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2000 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. With over two and a half decades of experience in small animal medicine, including extensive work in emergency and critical care, she has cared for patients in some of Canada’s busiest referral hospitals as well as local community clinics.
Her career highlights include more than a decade of comprehensive work as an emergency veterinarian and hospitalist at Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, one of Canada’s largest referral hospitals. There she worked in the Intensive Care Unit while collaborating closely with specialty teams in emergency and critical care, surgery, neurology, internal medicine, and oncology.
Since moving to Kamloops, Dr. Goodlet has enjoyed serving pets and their families in both urgent care and general practice settings. She has a special interest in critical care, patient-centered medicine, and helping to strengthen the human–animal bond. Dr. Goodlet has enjoyed practicing as a general practitioner, combining her background in emergency medicine with her commitment to preventive care and client education which has allowed her to provide compassionate, well-rounded care for every patient. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets and feels privileged to support the human–animal bond throughout all stages of life.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Goodlet finds joy in the outdoors and can often be found hiking the trails around Kamloops with her Doberman, Lincoln. She also enjoys sharing her life with her two rescue cats, Milo and Jax, and spending quality time with her two wonderful young adult children.
