Shelbi, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

I have loved animals since I was a kid and originally, wanted to be a veterinarian. Once I hit middle school and researched a bit more I made the decision to be a veterinary technician. I worked really hard towards my goal in high school and in 2016, I graduated from the Grande Prairie Regional College with a diploma in Animal Health Technology. I joined the clinic in September of 2017. I love the range of personalities I get to see and meet from the animals and their humans! I really enjoy the teamwork atmosphere and the "gold standard" of medical care that they strive for. Fun fact about me is that I have two pets at home, a hedgehog named Jorge and an axolotl named Spyro. My first pet that wasn't a family pet was my Guinea pig named Coco.
