Shelbi, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist

Animals were always fun and interesting for me as a kid. I knew they had to be a part of my career path in some way. After some research in grade 3 or 4, with my teacher's help, I knew that an RVT is what I wanted to be! I graduated from Grande Prairie Regional College’s Animal Health Technology Program in 2016 and I joined the Kamloops Vet Clinic team in 2017. I love working at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic because of the compassion and care given by every single team member.

My favourite parts about veterinary medicine would have to be patient and client interactions, nutrition and dentals. I spend the majority of my time crocheting or knitting with my senior doggy adoptee Ruby Rose, who I was very excited to welcome into my life last fall.
