Leanna, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technologist
I began working at Kamloops Vet Clinic in June 2021 after graduating from the Animal Health Tech program at TRU. I was lucky enough to complete my practicum hours here in February and fell in love with the team and atmosphere of the clinic. I am excited to be finished school and start my career as a technician! I began my career path in the animal world, volunteering at a wildlife rehab center on the Sunshine Coast, where I grew up. I knew I wanted to learn more about the medical side of things and got a job working as a tech assistant at a small animal hospital. After working there for 2 years, I applied for tech school and made the move to Kamloops. When not at work, I can be found snuggling with my two cats, Piggy and Loki, at home or out hiking or camping around Kamloops! My fiancé and I hope to be able to have a dog join our family in the near future as well!
