Dr. Courtney McRorie, DVM

Veterinarian
Dr. McRorie grew up in Prince Edward Island where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. It was always her dream to become a veterinarian, and this dream finally became a reality after she completed the DVM program at the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2022. Her love of the outdoors persuaded her to take the leap from the East Coast to the West Coast where she has started her first job as a veterinarian, here at the Kamloops Veterinary Clinic! When not in the clinic, Dr. McRorie can be found hiking the trails with her Golden Retriever, Archie, and exploring all of what this beautiful province has to offer. She also enjoys skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, playing many sports including both hockey and soccer, and is interested in taking up mountain biking and climbing while she is here. She has a particular interest in preventative and wellness medicine, surgery, and pathology! Her goal with every patient and client is to build a trusting relationship and to work hard at keeping or regaining her patient's health! She looks forward to meeting each and every one of you and is excited to begin shaping herself into the veterinarian she has always dreamed of becoming!
