I grew up in the lower mainland and recently moved to Kamloops at the end of 2019.
I moved here because I fell in love with the rich outdoor lifestyle Kamloops provides in fulfilling my hobbies. I enjoy biking, snowmobiling, yoga and am always happy to find new paddleboard or hiking friends!
I have been passionate about animals my entire life and had hamsters, fish and birds growing up. My best animal companion is my black cat named Fitzroy who I love spending my days off with. As a little girl, my favorite parts of summer vacations were always going to my grandmother's farm and helping tend to her livestock and watching the wild horses roam in the fields.
I have been going to TRU to meet the requirements for the Vet Tech course in the near future. I always knew I wanted to help animals because I believe it's important to be a voice for those who cannot verbally express themselves. I started as a kennel assistant and receptionist in 2011 and have worked numerous other jobs in between, but now I can say that I am thrilled to be back on board in the animal care field as a new receptionist at the Kamloops Veterinary Clinic! I am eager to learn and the incredible staff already made me feel comfortable and welcome as their new team member. I cannot wait to see what my future holds here!
